Happy New Year everyone!!!

Hope you all have had a very enjoyable Christmas and New Year!!!

Enjoy the festive season with this cake that I made for this year's New Year celebrations.

This was my very first cake with lights in it. I have put LED bulbs connected with batteries inside the windows and under the fireplace.

There was also smoke rising out of the chimney, though unfortunately that cannot be seen in the photographs.

The wooden sticks of the campfire and the dried tree are of chocolate. Hope you all liked it!!!

 Happy baking!!!

This is a cake that i made recently for a welcome party. It is a pure dark chocolate fudge cake with dark chocolate ganache. I decorated it with a modelling chocolate rose, leaves, a modelling chocolate rope and chocolate ribbon, the recipe and method of which will be posted by me soon. The tip of the rose petals

I made this cake for Christmas. This recipe makes a soft, moist and incredibly tasty plum cake. It is dense but still light.......The original recipe is of Nigella Lawson, but i have made many changes to the original recipe to suit my tastes. The cake tastes best when left to mature for at least 24 hours, it lets all the flavours infuse with one another and make it incredibly tasty!!!
